Designated as a TechHub in Advanced Mobility Technologies by the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MassTech) and awarded $99,990 through a Strategy Development Grant, AMTI plays a central role in advancing the Commonwealth’s ability to operationalize emerging transportation systems. The initiative supports cross-sector partnerships, accelerates readiness for implementation, and ensures the North Shore is an active proving ground for next-generation mobility.
“The future of transportation depends on our ability to safely test, validate, and integrate new technologies into existing systems. AMTI helps create the environment where innovation can move from the lab into the real-world.”
Denise Garcia
Administrator of the Aeronautics Division at the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT)
Guided by MassAutonomy’s innovation framework and MassDOT Aeronautics’ commitment to safety and sustainability, AMTI is building the physical, regulatory, and collaborative infrastructure needed to support testing, piloting, and operational deployment in areas such as autonomous aviation, robotics, maritime systems, and multimodal transportation.
